Dr. Andrea Wang is the co-founder and CEO of AHEAD Medicine Corporation and AHEAD Intelligence Ltd., pioneering companies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare.
Her academic foundation includes graduate research at Baylor College of Medicine, where she studied translational biology, molecular medicine, and the R programming language. This scientific background, combined with her experience in pharmaceutical companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Mundipharma, and Bayer Healthcare, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of both clinical research and healthcare business operations.
In 2017, Andrea co-founded the AHEAD research team with Dr. Bor-Sheng Ko (National Taiwan University Hospital) and Dr. Chi-Chun Lee (National Tsing Hua University), focusing on developing automated complex flow cytometry data analysis for hematological diseases. Under her leadership, AHEAD has established strategic partnerships with prestigious institutions including UPMC, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and BD Biosciences.
