Dr. Ruchi Gupta obtained MD (Pathology) in 2007 from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. She did her 3 years of senior residency in the same institute. Subsequently she joined the Department of Hematology, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, in 2011 and is currently Professor in the department. She has participated in flow cytometry training courses nationally and has been instrumental in the expansion of flow cytometry facility in the department, which has evolved from immunophenotyping of leukemia/lymphoma/MDS in initial years to assessment of minimal residual disease at present. In addition, she has keen interest in benign hematology, platelet flow cytometry etc. We have successfully organised many Nation and International flow cytometry training workshops in the department for basic as well as advanced flow cytometry training.
