Dr. Renjith P. Nair is a distinguished scientist with expertise in molecular oncology, blood derived therapeutics, and regenerative medicine. He obtained his master’s degree in biotechnology from Bharathiar University and pursued his Ph.D. at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. Following his doctoral research, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, USA.
Dr. Nair commenced his academic career as a faculty member in Molecular Oncology at Malabar Cancer Centre and is currently a Scientist at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. With over 16 years of experience in flow cytometry, he has organized three workshops on the subject and has been a resource person in more than 25 national and international seminars and conferences.
His research interests span platelet and plasma-based therapeutics, personalized therapy, adult stem cells, tissue engineering and development of cost-effective advanced wound care solutions. He authored more than 22 research publications and seven book chapters, along with filing six patents and securing one design registration.
Dr. Nair is actively involved in scientific communities and serves as the Joint Secretary of the Kerala Academy of Sciences.
