Dr. Kusum Gupta, obtained her DNB in Pathology in 2021 from Vivekananda Polyclinic Institute of Medical Sciences (VPIMS), Lucknow, India. She subsequently completed three years of senior residency in the Department of Hematology at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, where she received advanced training in flow cytometry with a focus on benign and malignant haematological disorders. During this period, she also actively participated in multiple flow cytometry training and teaching programs conducted at SGPGIMS.
She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology (Hematology Section) at the Amrita School of Medicine and Hospital, Faridabad, Haryana. She has over four years of dedicated experience in clinical cytometry, encompassing leukaemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping, measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis, PNH screening, stem cell enumeration, EMA testing, osmotic fragility assays, platelet flow cytometry, and CAR-T monitoring.
Her professional interests include diagnostic hematopathology, clinical flow cytometry, and laboratory quality assurance.
