Dr. Monoj Kumar Deka obtained his MBBS & MD from Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, India in the year 1998 and 2005 respectively. He is an alumnus of Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam, India. Dr Monoj joined as Professor & Head, Pathology, Dhubri Medical College in the year 2025. He joined Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Silchar, Assam, India in the year 2010 as Visiting Consultant, Onco-pathology. He was instrumental in providing diagnostic services in Flow cytometry at CCHRC. He was actively associated in holding the first Indo-US Flow cytometry symposium in the year 2014 at CCHRC. He was also the Coordinator of the 20th Indo-US Flow Cytometry Workshop held on March 2019 at CCHRC. He has published many publications mainly related to oncopathology and have served as resource person in many national CMEs.
