This on-site workshop was organized at the Department of Biotechnology, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College (GGDSD), Chandigarh.
The program was conducted from 10–12 January 2024 in collaboration with Flowcytometry Solutions, TETC and the Indian Science Congress Association Chandigarh Chapter.
The workshop covered the basics of flow cytometry, instrument setup, quality assurance and quality control.
Participants were introduced to experimental design and sample preparation for flow cytometry experiments.
The practical program included cell-cycle, apoptosis and immunophenotyping studies.
Additional topics included spectral overlap, compensation, selection of appropriate controls and data analysis.
The workshop was designed for participants from biological, biotechnology, bioinformatics, life-science, medical and related fields interested in hands-on laboratory techniques.
