This pre-conference workshop was organized as part of ImmunoCon-51, the Annual Conference of the Indian Immunology Society.
It was jointly organized by the Department of Biochemistry, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and TETC.
The workshop was held on 16 October 2024 at the Department of Biochemistry, IISc Bengaluru.
The program covered the basics of flow cytometry and applications of flow cytometry in biomedical research.
A practical laboratory module focused on instrument overview, instrument setup and quality control.
Participants also learned about multicolor flow cytometry experiment design, compensation and acquisition of immunophenotyping assays.
The program included an introduction to Cytobank, data analysis and presentation, followed by talks, quiz, feedback and valedictory activities.
