This was the 1st Online International Winter School on Flow Cytometry Data Analysis & Presentation, covering research and clinical applications at basic and advanced levels.
The program was designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in analyzing, interpreting and presenting flow cytometry data.
Key areas included data import, data standards, experimental design, controls, data acquisition, display plots, gating tools and algorithm-based analysis.
The school also covered spectral overlap, compensation/unmixing, statistics and clinical data analysis involving leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and minimal residual disease.
Advanced topics included high-dimensional analysis using t-SNE, UMAP and FlowSOM, along with artificial intelligence and machine-learning approaches.
Participants also received live demonstrations, troubleshooting guidance, MIFlowCyt publication guidelines and assistance with their own datasets.
