This was the 4th Annual Online Certificate Course in Flow Cytometry covering principles, experimental designing and data analysis.
The one-month online program focused on strengthening knowledge of flow cytometry through theoretical lectures, practical activities and demonstrations.
Topics included basic and full-spectrum flow cytometry, applications, Know Your Cytometer, machine setup, quality control, sample preparation and experimental controls.
The course also covered panel designing, spectral overlap, compensation/unmixing, cell sorting and intracellular cytokine staining.
Data analysis and presentation were addressed at both basic and high-dimensional levels, along with live demonstrations of instrument setup and data acquisition.
Special tutorials included artificial intelligence and machine learning in flow cytometry as well as career options in the field.
