This one-day workshop provided an introduction to the fundamentals and practical applications of flow cytometry.
The program included demonstrations of instrument startup, setup, template preparation, PMT voltage settings and threshold configuration.
Participants were introduced to manual and automatic compensation and immunophenotyping acquisition and analysis.
The workshop covered applications including cell cycle, proliferation, apoptosis and immunophenotyping.
Additional topics included fluorochromes, antibodies, spectral overlap, compensation, controls and sample quality.
The program also included a wet-lab and data-analysis component covering different flow cytometry applications.
The workshop was organized by Somaiya Initiatives for Research & Consultancy (SIRAC) in association with Flowcytometry Solutions and other collaborators.
